Welcome back Carstairs Kodiaks!

Athletics is a great opportunity for young athletes to explore the possibilities available in sports.  We offer many different athletic opportunities.  Opportunities such as golf, cross-country running, volleyball, basketball, curling, badminton and track and field.
In order to offer all these programs to a variety of ages, we need coaches.  If you know someone or would like to become involved with a program here at the school, please contact me.
Without these great volunteers we would not be able to offer the programs we do.

If you have any questions, or concerns please drop in and see me or contact me.

Dear Grade 6 Athletes and Parents,

Recently we have become aware that we are one of the only schools within Chinook’s Edge including grade 6 athletes within our extra-curricular volleyball and basketball leagues.  Within South Central Zone extra-curricular athletics begins in grade 7.  Chinook’s Edge South Athletic Association has decided this year to a-line our selves with the Chinook’s Edge North and South Central Zone and focus on junior high athletics as grade 7-9.  We will still maintain all the leagues within CESAA to allow as many athletes grade 7-12 the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities.  Senior high league will be grade 12, 11 and 10, Junior Varsity leagues will be grade 9-10-11 athletes, Jr. A league will be grade 7-8-9 athletes, Middle school A and B leagues will be mostly made of grade 7-8 athletes.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact the school.

Attention Parent Drivers

Last year Chinook's Edge School Division changed their driving policy to $2 million dollar coverage if a driver is transporting students to, or from a school event.  This year they have changed the policy back to $1 million dollar coverage however they strongly recommend $2 million dollar coverage.  We also require that the school has a copy of your insurance on file.   If you have any questions or concerns please contact the school.
