I grew up in the town of Olds. Following graduation, I moved on to Red Deer College. Then I transferred to the University of Alberta in Edmonton where I received a Bachelor of Education majoring in Social Studies and minoring in Inclusive Education. This past summer I completed my Master's of Educational Leadership from City University of Seattle.
My husband Dan and I live in Olds and stay busy raising our three children- Jack, Myer and Nora.
I work as a teacher and an academic counsellor at Hugh Sutherland School. Helping students find their passions and work towards their future goals is what makes me happy. I have the best job ever!
I am proud to have spent my K-12 years in Chinook's Edge School Division and now teach in the same division where my children will also spend their school years.
When I am not working, you can find me cheering on my own personal kids at their various activities. I also love to read, run, golf, play cards and curl up with a great TV show.
