Charity McGonigal

I am a certified Educational Assistant and have been at Hugh Sutherland School for 5 years now. I have worked in several grades throughout the school, but have primarily worked in Junior High School for the last couple of years. I love being a part of a student's education and seeing the growth they can make in their school year. During my time at HSS I have learned what it means to be adaptable and resilient because when it comes to working with children, no two days are the same.
When I am not at work I can be found walking, hanging out with my silver lab (Echo), annoying/chilling with my teenage children, and relaxing with my husband in our backyard oasis we have created for ourselves. My family is what is most important to me and I am learning to let them go as they are slowly but surely moving on to the next stages of their lives.
